Kirsten Hovenier and Mikée Westerling have lived in Switzerland since August 2007. Mikée worked as an interior designer and Kirsten worked as a management consultant in several countries. Both newly arrived in Switzerland, they discovered these Swiss army blankets and developed a great love for them. They turned the blankets into cushions covers for the sofa, took the blankets along as plaids for long summer evenings and used them as picnic rugs on the banks of Lake Geneva. And invariably people would ask them where they had gotten these beauties.
